This is a list of random items that I've found make vacations just that much better.
Folding hangers, amazing right? You can never have enough of these and let me tell you, the cruise lines never give you enough.

This is a very handy laundry basket that pops-up. For my family it is great because the kids can use it, it collapses all the way down and things aren't just lying around.

There are ironing options, but like most things, they either cost money or who wants to do that? This solves that problem. And it also has the added benefit of working at home (mostly for my husband who hates ironing, lol)
#Cruise #Disney #Universal
You may not know this, but nearly every wall inside a cruise cabin is magnetic! This means you can hang hats, bags, clothes etc. from the wall with these magnets!
#Cruise
Similar to the other hooks on this list, but these are focused on holding papers, itineraries and things without hoops. Plus, they are fun to look at.
#Cruise
There are plenty of ways to handle this and I've tried them all. I'm not saying this is the best option, but it is an option that I've used (and continue to use).
#Cruise
Every cruise line does this a little differently, but they all require some kind of cruise card to get around the ship, buy things, get on & off the ship etc. These are simple, easy & cheap lanyards (in case you want them).
#Cruise
This is something I never thought of until I saw someone do it. These bands make it so you never lose your towel or clothes (while drying on the veranda). Good for saving seats and enjoying being pool side.
#Cruise
This sand remover is like a miracle you've never experienced. Having sand in your shoes is terrible and, my kids for some reason, love to wear shoes vs. sandals. Being able to easily remove sand from the beach and not have to listen to the complaining is a win-win!
#Cruise
We don't use these as much as we used to, but that's probably because we don't bring our phones as much into the water. However, if you are planning on excursions with water, riding Tiana's Bayou Adventure or just have slippery hands. This might help save you from some serious tears.
#Cruise #Disney #Universal
There is nothing worse than opening your luggage and finding a mess. In the past I've used ziplock bags (which work fine), but these work better. Check 'em out!
#Cruise #Disney #Universal
Yes it works, yes I strongly recommend it. Your on ship room is not near as large as your house.
#Cruise #Disney #Universal
What more can I say, but it is, what it is. These are great for drying off on excursions or those water rides and not carrying everything wet around with you (well, it is with you but not on you).
#Cruise #Disney #Universal
Unfortunately on a cruise, you are still always carrying something. Whether your phone, or medicine, or your passport. This is something that made my life a little bit easier on the ship and excursions both.
#Cruise
I live in this hat when on the boat, doing excursions or walking the parks. It has a pony tail opening, let's my hair out but keeps the UVs out of my face.
#Cruise #Disney #Universal
This is a must have. Ships are slippery and you want to wear sandals. Before you go, test your sandals on bits of water to see if you slip. If you do, get these. If you don't, you are luckier than I was.
#Cruise
These are great for organizing your suitcases and I love them. We use them all the time when we travel now. They are just part of my system.
#Cruise #Disney #Universal
Considering go on a cruise before or after your theme park adventure? Going straight for the cruise and skipping the parks?
Then keep this in mind ... if you plan on getting off the ship, there are some ports that require you to have a passport (not all, but a few still remain). And if the most unfortunate occurs and you must be airlifted off the ship or end up in a hospital and have to fly home, you must have your passport. That's where this comes in.
#Cruise
Every person should have their own power bank - unless you are truly cruising without technology. This is the brand my husband loves and swears by ... check it out!
#Cruise #Disney #Universal
There are never enough plugs on the cruise ship or in a hotel room for all the technology items you and your family will have. And since surge protectors aren't allowed on a ship, this makes a great investment for hotel rooms and cruise ships alike.
#Cruise #Disney #Universal
Nothing is worse than losing your Magic Band. They are expensive and your child will likely cry (trust me). This fixes that by locking them in place. It isn't foolproof, but it helps a lot!
#Cruise #Disney
If you are like me, you probably love your Apple Watch. If you are also like me, you love Magic Band+ for its ability to unlock your resort room, or on the cruise ships.
This makes it possible to put your Magic Band+ on your Apple Watch so you only have to wear one band.

Yes, it is a long list. But pick & choose what works for you
Part of the services we provide, is that we'll email you a full, recommended, packing list a few weeks prior to your departure.
Many items you'll already have, however some you may need to order or others you may have never thought of. That is where this list comes in!
Hope it helps and that you love your vacation!
You know you need it, but here are two important recommendations
We learned the hard way that no matter how much the cruise companies try to keep sandnats and jellyfish away, it doesn't always work. But this stuff does, highly recommend.
#Cruise
I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to have sunscreen (and avoid having to pay the high prices at the parks or on the ship).
#Cruise #Disney #Universal
Beyond the prescription medication you already thought of packing, don't forget these essentials to avoid paying high price cruise/park prices!
Best anti-headache medicine ever! I live off of this stuff, especially when the headaches come from caffeine reduction or alcoholic beverages. 5 stars, highly recommended.
#Cruise #Disney #Universal
There is nothing more uncomfortable than chafing down there. Trust me.
#Cruise #Disney #Universal
Tried and true. Works great for children of all ages, and addresses those random headaches, growing pains etc.
#Cruise #Disney #Universal
And when Tylenol isn't the right fit, you've got its best friend ibuprofen. Or Vitamin M as the military seems to call it.
#Cruise #Disney #Universal
Do you have to let it linger?? No, you don't and this helps with that problem for sure.
#Cruise #Disney #Universal
Well, yeah, of course. You've been traveling and are now eating cruise food. Unfortunately, this is one of the things that might happen.
#Cruise #Disney #Universal
Remember how I said there were different things that could happen ... Imodium for one and Pepto Bismol for the other.
#Cruise #Disney #Universal
I learned the hard way that visiting a lot of countries, means meeting allergies I didn't even know I had. And turns out my kids are the same way. Oh so much fun the first time ... all good now though!
#Cruise #Disney #Universal
You would think that a ship rocking gently, and/or running around all day would exhaust your kids. Turns out, not always ...
#Cruise #Disney #Universal
Everyone is a little different in what works (and doesn't) work for them. Give these a try.
One of the originals and it works quite well. Be sure to start taking it a few days before your cruise so it is in your system though - or at least that's what I do. Be sure to follow the directions.
#Cruise #Disney #Universal
It does what it says ... it made sure my kids were having fun and not being sick. Top marks!
#Cruise #Disney #Universal
If you are like me, you get sea sick too easily. On top of the usual items (like some of the others on this page), I found that these combined with the medicine always helped me.
